Equivalence of academic degree (Denklik)

"Denklik" in Turkey refers to the equivalence of educational qualifications obtained outside of Turkey.All students who intend to continue their education in Turkey must have their educational documents from their previous level of education recognized as equivalent.Individuals who intend to work in Turkey also need to have their educational qualifications recognized (denklik).I'll explain the online denklik process in four simple steps.

Before proceeding with obtaining denklik, you need to translate your diploma and transcripts into Turkish (specifically Istanbul Turkish).

1- Accessing the website
www.edenklik.meb.gov.trFirst, enter the website whose link I've written for you.
2- Registering a meeting request
At this stage, you need to enter the 'Online Başvuru' section through the website menu.
3- Entering personal information
Next, you need to enter your personal information and upload your documents, including educational certificates and transcripts along with their Turkish (Istanbul Turkish) translations, through the website.
4- Equivalency Center
At this stage, you should choose your Equivalency Center, and subsequently, you can schedule the appointment for the meeting.
